Financial Assistance Policy

Program Name: 

Christian Marriage Counseling Assistance Program (CMCAP)

Purpose:

To provide direct financial assistance to Christian couples experiencing marital challenges who seek counseling from licensed, faith-based providers.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Applicants must be legally married Christian couples.
2. Must demonstrate financial need.
3. Counseling must be conducted by a licensed Christian counselor or pastor with recognized credentials.
4. Assistance funds will be paid directly to the provider, not to the couple.

Application Requirements:
1. Completed application form.

2. Proof of marriage.

3. Proof of counseling enrollment and provider’s credentials.

4. Statement of faith and intent.

Award Guidelines:
-Maximum assistance: $1,000 per couple per calendar year.
- Payments made directly to counseling providers.
- Recipients must submit proof of session completion.

Confidentiality:
All applicant information will be handled in confidence and used solely for eligibility determination.
